From Siem Reap to Kratie, we take highway 6 through Kampong Thom towards Kampong Thmor before veering east and travel through villages, rice fields and rubber plantations to Chamka Lee. From here we turn left and on to Stung Trong where will take the ferry across the Mekong River. Continuing we passed many pretty Wats from Hanchey towards the old river port of Chhlong, home to some of the best examples of French colonial architecture in the country. We next arrive in Kratie. The same way if from Kratie to Siem Reap. Along the way, we can stop for a short break or take photos any time you would love to.
