The driver will be waiting for you just outside the arrival terminal gate of Phnom Penh International Airport, with holding a sign with your name clearly written on it and ready to take you directly to your destination. With our best services, you don’t need to worry about flight delays as your driver will have your flight information and will be monitoring it for any time changes.
We leave Phnom Penh airport and travel northeast to the bustling provincial town of Kampong Cham. To avoid traffic jams and reduce travel time, our trip does not pass-through Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. On the way, after 1h30 drive, there is the option to take a break at Skuon, affectionately known as Spider Ville Cambodia, the popular place for Cambodian and foreign travelers to taste the local delicacy of tarantula fried and other fried insects. We make a short stop to amaze you around this market in Spider Town, you can also try various seasonal local fruits from the region and islands in the Mekong River. However, if you don’t want to taste spider, cricket, scorpion, grasshopper or other insects, this is also a good place to take pictures.
After a short break, we continue northwest on national road number 6 to Kampong Thom, the second largest central province of Cambodia, this is a midway break for lunch or coffee if you prefer. Our journey passes through Kampong Kdei, it was an ancient road of Angkor and we stop to visit one of the ancient bridges of Angkor built in the 12th century.
The entire journey takes between 5 to 6 hours. Please note that the travel time may be slightly longer due to traffic.
